Ce este Corianul?
Corian® este un material de suprafață solid, neporos, omogen, compus din rășină acriliacă (PMMA) și minerale naturale. Oferă o mare versatilitate printr-o paleta largă de culori disponibilă și mai ales prin posibilitățile de modelare prin procesul de termoformare.
Corian®, un material extrem de ușor de întreținut și rezistent în timp
Proprietățile sale îl fac un material recomandat pentru spațiile publice unde menținerea curățeniei presupune un cost important pentru bugetul de mentenanță. Corianul este, față de alte materiale, ușor de întreținut și își păstrează în timp aspectul.
- Nu este un material poros, ceea ce împiedică infiltrarea mizeriei în adâncime favorizând păstrarea facilă a curățeniei. Printr-o simplă ștergere, o piesă de mobilier din Corian® își recapătă aspectul curat, fără a păstra „rezerve” de mizerie sau surse de infectare.
- Fără îmbinări. Prin metode specifice, părțile componente ale mobilierului din Corian® pot fi îmbinate, creând impresia unui mobilier monobloc, fără rosturi în care s-ar putea strânge mizerie.
- Este un material rezistent la temperaturi ridicate. O tigaie fierbinte așezată din greșeală pe blatul de bucătărie sau chiar un muc de țigară scăpat pe o astfel de suprafață nu lasă urme sau acestea pot fi ușor îndepărtate.
- Corianul este un material durabil, păstrându-și aspectul ani de zile, rezistând chiar și unei utilizări intensive. Longevitatea lui îl face și un material prietenos cu mediul.
- Nu se pătează ușor. Permite menținerea unui aspect curat, îngrijit, pentru foarte mult timp, chiar și în cazul montării în zone cu o utilizare intensivă, cum ar fi băi publice sau bucătării industriale.
- Este non-toxic, non-alergic, non-reactiv. Poate fi folosit în siguranță acasă, în clădiri de birouri, spitale sau în spații publice. În plus, este un material rezistent la raze UV, ceea ce explică menținerea culorii chiar dacă este folosit în bucătării sau alte spații expuse luminii soarelui.
- Este un material ce poate fi „reparat”. Eventualele zgârieturi sau tăieturi de pe suprafața materialului pot fi acoperite sau îndepărtate cu ajutorul unor metode specifice.
What is Corian?
Corian® is a solid, non-porous, homogeneous surface material composed of acrylic resin and natural minerals. It offers great versatility through a wide range of available colors, and especially through the modelling possibilities offered by the thermoforming process.

It is not a porous material
This prevents the deep infiltration of dust and dirt, thus facilitating maintaining cleanliness. By simply wiping a Corian® piece of furniture, it recovers its clean look without keeping any leftover dirtiness or potential sources of infection.
It is a material that is resistant to high temperatures
A hot pan mistakenly placed on the kitchen counter or even a cigarette lump dropped on such a surface does not leave any traces, or if it does, they can be easily removed.
It is not easy to stain
Allows maintaining a clean, neat appearance for a very long time, even when setup in areas with intense use – such as public baths or industrial kitchens.
It is a material that can be “repaired“
Any scratches or marks on the surface of the material may be covered or removed by specific methods.
No joints
